Nick Lyndaker has earned another end of season award, this time earning regional recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). He has been tabbed as Mideast Region Athlete of the Year for 2024-25, the coach association announced last week.
Lyndaker, who hails from Canton, N.Y., won a pair of events at the 2025 Liberty League Championship: the 1500 meters and 5000 meters. He was named the Liberty League Most Outstanding Track Co-Performer at the Championship.
When Lyndaker ran PR 3:42.75 over 1500 meters at the St. Lawrence Twilight Invite, he shattered a 41-year-old program record and took down a facility record that was formerly held by Nick Symmonds.
