St. Lawrence University Men's Track and Field distance runner and senior Nick Lyndaker has been selected as United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Associaiton (USTFCCCA) Mideast Region track athlete of the year, the association announced this week.
Lyndaker claims yet another award following a decorated senior year campaign. At last week's NCAA Division III Championships, he finished fourth in the mile to earn All-America accolades with a time of 4:14.54. He was also 20th in the 3,000-meter run at at 8:44.15.
Other 2025-26 highlights include recording fifth-best mile time in NCAA Division III history (3:59.42), which also set the St. Lawrence and Liberty League association records. He won the mile and 3,000-meter run at the 2026 Liberty League Championships and also anchored the Saints' runner-up distance medley relay. He also set a program record time of 8:07.21 in the 3,000 at the Fastrack National Invite.
