BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's indoor track & field teams will be represented by seven individuals at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for March 13-14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
On the men's side, junior Jack Czarnecki qualified in the mile run and is seeded seventh in the event with a time of 4:06.90. Fellow distance standout junior Evan Lacey will represent the Engineers in the 3,000-meter run, where he is ranked 16th (8:08.28).
RPI will also send its men's Distance Medley Relay squad, comprised of juniors Danny Gall, Alexander Flynn, Dominic Pena, and Czarnecki, after posting a qualifying time of 9:45.10, that is ranked seventh nationally.
The RPI women are also sending a pair of qualifiers at the national meet. Sophomore Alice Brambati will compete in the long jump at this year's NCAAs, where she is seeded 12th with a mark of 5.79 meters.
Distance standout junior Julianne Bleskoski qualified in two events, earning a spot in both the 3000-meter run and the 5,000-meter run following a dominant indoor campaign. She is ranked fourth in the 3,000 (9:33.23) and 17th in the 5,000 (16:57.62). Bleskoski was the runner-up in the 3000m at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships.
Qualification for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships is limited to the top 20 declared student-athletes in each individual event, including the combined events, and the top 12 declared relay teams nationally. Athletes will compete in preliminary and final rounds across the two-day meet, with All-America honors awarded to the top 16 (1st-8th First Team, 9th-16th Second Team) finishers in each event.
