Six Liberty League teams punched their tickets to the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships, so far this this fall. The NCAA announced championship brackets earlier this week in Field Hockey, Men's Soccer, and Women's Soccer.
Three teams earned the Liberty League's automatic qualifier in each sport while two snagged at-large bids. The Field Hockey tournament is slated to begin on Wednesday, November 13th while both Men's and Women's Soccer get underway on Saturday, November 16th.

Ithaca (15-5) claimed its first Liberty League title this year and the Bombers were regular season champions for the third time since 2019.They posted with a pair of 2-0 victories in the semifinals against No. 5 seed Skidmore and in the championship against No. 3 seed Rochester. Ithaca will head to Middletown, Connecticut to face off against Wesleyan University.

Vassar Tournament Release
Vassar (12-3-3) won its first Liberty League title since 2016 and they are the and the conference's NCAA automatic qualifier following a 0-0 scoreless tie against No. 2 seed St. Lawrence and a 4-3 penalty kick victory. They also posted a 2-1 victory against No. 5 seed RIT in the semifinals. The Brewers are back in the NCAAs for the second time in the last three seasons. They will travel to the campus of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt. where they will play Rown in the First Round.

Four Liberty League teams are set to play in the NCAA 2024 Division III Women's Soccer Championship.
Ithaca (13-2-4) earned the league's automatic bid while
William Smith (12-3-4),
Skidmore (11-3-3), and
Vassar (11-3-5) snagged at-large bids. All three were in the conference's tournament with Ithaca and William Smith settling for a 0-0 tie in the championship game and the Bombers capturing its second league title since 2021, thanks to a 3-2 penalty kick victory. Skidmore and Vassar both posted first round wins; the Thoroughbreds beat RIT, 1-0 and the Brewers posted a 2-1 victory against Clarkson. In the semifinals, Ithaca posted a 2-0 win over Skidmore and William Smith won 2-0 against Vassar.
William Smith will host a pair of First Round games on Nov. 16 and a Second Round game on Nov. 17. They welcome Penn State-Harrisburg, Tufts, and Rowan to Geneva. Ithaca heads to Dallas, Pa. where the Bombers square off against Penn State-Behrend. The other First Round game is host Misericordia versus Grove City. Skidmore is also in Pennslyvania with a trip to Grantham at Messiah's campus. The Thoroughbreds match up against Case Western and the other First Round game is Messiah versus Gordon. Vassar also heads south but to Newport News, Va. for a game against St. Mary's (Md.). The other First Round game is Christopher Newport verus John Jay.
