83 Liberty League student-athletes have earned a spot on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® At-Large teams. 31 male student-athletes and 52 female student-athletes were recognized with the accolades.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® At-Large honorees, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance in athletics and academics. Eligible student-athletes must be a starter or significant contributor to their team, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing.
The At-Large teams honor those student-athletes who participate in sports that do not have their own specific CSC academic teams. For the women, the 52 conference honorees represent four sports: women's lacrosse (28), field hockey (12), rowing (8), and golf (4), while two sports were represented among the conference's 31 male honorees (lacrosse - 26, golf - 5).
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are All-District honorees denoted with an asterisk and advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Six Liberty League male student-athletes (2 RIT, 1 Skidmore, 1 St. Lawrence, 2 Union) and five female student-athletes (1 Ithaca, 1 Rochester, 2 Union, 1 William Smith) advance to their respective national ballots. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees for the at-large teams will be announced in July.
All 11 Liberty League schools had representatives among the honorees, with Union College leading the way with 11 selections. Skidmore College had 10, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) had nine. A trio of schools had eight selections apiece: University of Rochester, St. Lawrence University, and Bard College, while three schools had seven recognized (Clarkson University, Ithaca College, and Vassar College). Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) had six honored, and Bard College had five to round out the conference institutions.
Seven conference members also had representatives for non-Liberty League Division III sports (Bard, Hobart and William Smith, Ithaca, RIT, Skidmore, St. Lawrence, Vassar) among the 2025-26 at-large honorees. In addition, all five institutions that sponsor Division I Men's and Women's Ice Hockey had student-athletes named to the teams (Clarkson - 5, RPI - 2, RIT - 4, St. Lawrence - 1, Union - 1).
