TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's outdoor track & field teams will be represented by six student-athletes at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 21-23 at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
The top 22 ranked student-athletes in each individual event and the top 16 relay teams qualify for the national meet.
A pair of athletes will represent the RPI women's team in sophomore Alice Brambati and senior Emma McGuinn. Brambati will compete in two events at the championship: 100-meter hurdles and long jump. She is seeded 16th in the 100 hurdles with a season-best time of 14.33 seconds and she is seeded ninth in the long jump, with a mark 5.80 meters this spring.
McGuinn will join Brambati in the 100 hurdles. McGuinn qualified for the NCAA Championships with a season-best time of 14.34 seconds in the event. McGuinn enters the national meet seeded 19th overall.
On the men's side, three RPI distance runners and one field athlete qualified for the national championship. In the 800-meter run, Dominic Pena is seeded 18th after posting a season-best time of 1:50.23. Two qualified for the 1,500-meter run, led by Jack Czarnecki, who enters the field seeded 15th with a season-best time of 3:47.89. Teammate Evan Lacey joins him after clocking a time of 3:47.92 earlier this season and earning the 16th seed overall.
In the field events, Tristan Mangin earned one of the highest seeding among the Engineers, qualifying in the javelin throw as the eighth seed with a season-best mark of 65.86 meters.
