University of Rochester senior attack Alyssa Gorny was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NCAA Division III Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Gorny, who was also named the Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week, notched all three game-winning goals as the Yellowjackets went 3-0 on the week with victories against Utica, Skidmore and RPI to improve to 11-4 overall on the season and 7-2 in conference play.
The senior scored 11 goals on 18 total shots and had six assists (17 points) over Rochester's three contests, to go along with 17 draw controls, nine ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
The Ellicott City, Maryland native had five goals and two assists (7 points) at Utica on Tuesday, five goals and three assists (8 points) against Skidmore on Friday, and scored one goal, the game-winner in the final two minutes, against RPI on Saturday.
During the week, Gorny continued to set records for the Yellowjackets, setting the career draw controls and game-winning goals records, while tying the single-season points record.
Gorny becomes just the second IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week in program history, and the first since Gracie Giannettino earned the honor on March 5, 2024.
Heading into their final regular-season contest at Union, Gorny leads the Yellowjackets in nearly every offensive statistical category, with a team-high 57 goals, 77 points and 65 draw controls, as well as 24 ground balls and 20 assists.
