ABOUT SKIDMORE
The Thoroughbreds enter the playoffs with an 11-14 record and finished 9-9 in the Liberty League. Skidmore finished sixth in the conference, two games behind Vassar, but three ahead of seventh-place Clarkson and Ithaca. Skidmore was swept on the road at Ithaca and RIT to close out the regular season over the weekend.

HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
Skidmore and RPI have not met in the playoffs since the 2009-10 season. The Engineers beat the Thoroughbreds 70-67 in the conference title game. Skidmore has three Liberty League titles (2015, 2018, 2023). RPI's only league title was in that 2010 season. The Engineers won both meetings in the 2025-26 season: 51-47 on Jan. 10 in Troy, and 68-61 on Jan. 30 in Saratoga Springs. The first broke a streak of nine Skidmore wins in a row.
NEXT
The winner will travel to second-seeded RIT on Friday for the semifinals. The championship game will take place on Sunday, March 1, at the highest remaining seed.
