TROY, N.Y. – Liberty League commissioner Tracy King has announced that 411 winter sport student-athletes have qualified for the league's 2025-2026 All-Academic Teams in their respective sports, the most for a winter season in the league's 30-year history. The previous high was 410 set in 2024-2025.
The winter championship sports include men's and women's basketball, men's and women's squash, and men's and women's swimming and diving. To be recognized as a member of the All-Academic team a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.
"The Liberty League has always taken great pride in the academic success of our student-athletes," said King. "Our student-athletes continue to demonstrate that it is possible to not only excel academically but to achieve athletically at the highest levels in Division III. I congratulate and salute them on their outstanding academic achievements."
