The Liberty League announced that 33 student-athletes in 12 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of April 11-17. University of Rochester senior Nishant Datta, the Performer of the Week in men's golf, captured his first career victory, earning medalist honors at the Fred Kravetz Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The senior fired rounds of 73 and 75 to finish at +5 (148) for the 36-hole event at Irondequoit Country Club and Oak Hill Country Club. Datta’s win helped propel the Yellowjackets to the team title.
