2026 Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships Results
CANTON, N.Y. – The 2026 Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships concluded Saturday at St. Lawrence’s Merrick-Pinkard Track and Field Complex, featuring the final 30 events (15 men’s, 15 women’s) of the two-day meet.
The Ithaca College women earned their first Liberty League outdoor title since 2019 and it also marked the first time the Bombers have swept both the indoor and outdoor championships since 2019. Ithaca maintained its day-one lead and finished with 213 points, 32 ahead of runner-up University of Rochester (181). Vassar College placed third with 147.5 points, followed by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RIT, 125). Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT, 73), St. Lawrence University (42.5), Union College (32), and Bard College (2) rounded out the standings.
On the men’s side, RPI cruised to its fourth consecutive Liberty League outdoor title and 15th since 2009, with a total of 317 points and the Engineers eclipsed Rochester by 159 points. The Yellowjackets narrowly edged RIT to finish second with 158 points to the Tigers’ 156.5 for third. Ithaca (98), St. Lawrence (42.5), Union (31), Vassar (9), and Bard rounded out the men’s teams at the championship.

DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS
WOMEN
- Vassar junior Haley Schoenegge swept both of her distance events for the second straight year with victories in the 1,500 meters and 5,000 meters. In the 1,500 she crossed the finish line in 4:36.83 and she clocked a time of 16:50.63 in the 5,000. RPI junior Bleskoski was runner-up in the 5,000 for the second straight year with a time of 17:08.83.
- Schoenegge also posted a win in the 800-meter run with a meet record time of 2:10.93. She shattered the previous record time of 2:12.84, which was set in 2022 by Rochester’s Susan Bansbach.
- Union College junior Ashley Sheldon successfully defended her Liberty League title in the high jump. She cleared 1.62 meters on her first attempt.
- Rochester junior Nora Chen won the 400-meter dash after earning silver at last year’s championship. In 2026, she finished with a time of 56.82 to earn the gold medal. She also finished ahead of teammates junior Raquella Casserino (57.08) and sophomore Lizzie Merrill (57.85), who placed second and third, respectively.
- Chen repeated as Liberty League Champion the 400-meter hurdles; she crossed the finish line just over the one-minute mark at 1:00.94. She broke her own record time of 1:01.25 set last May.
- Ithaca sophomore Aynisha McQuillar captured the 100-meter dash title in 12.07, edging St. Lawrence first-year Ella Baker, who finished second in 12.11, just 0.04 seconds behind McQuillar. Baker turned the tables in the 200-meter dash, winning in 24.78, while McQuillar placed second in 24.91.
- Ithaca senior Rachel Larson repeated as the 100-meter hurdles champion, winning in 14.08 seconds, and she also placed second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.29 after finishing fourth in the event in 2025.
- In the triple jump, Rochester first-year Lauren Murphy captured her second gold medal of the championship, recording a winning mark of 11.84 meters on her third attempt.
- Rochester junior Aimee Oszer swept the throwing events on day two of the championship, winning both the shot put and discus. She recorded a throw of 42.30 meters on her third attempt in the discus, and secured the shot put victory with a winning mark of 13.54 meters on her fourth attempt.
- Rochester won the 4x400-meter relay with junior Eva Ciufetelli, sophomore Peyton Classer, Murphy, and senior Rita Sciortino combining for a time 4:00.59 and two seconds ahead of runner-up RPI (4:02.53).
- In the 4x100-meter relay, Vassar (senior Jamie Eu, sophomore Lianna Camille, sophomore Lainie D’Auria, first-year Maddie Seguin) claimed the victory in 48.10 seconds, finishing 1.25 seconds ahead of Rochester (senior Maya Hatch, Merrill, Casserino, Murphy), which placed second in 49.35 seconds.
- For the second straight year, Ithaca sophomore Cameron Ting is the Liberty League champion in the heptathlon, totaling 4,264 points across the eight events. She won three of the eight events: 100-meter hurdles (15.63), high jump (1.55m), and 800-meter run (2:22.87). She also recorded a second-place finish in the long jump (5.03m) and was third in the 200-meter dash (27.07). Amelia Berthold finished second in the heptathlon standings with 4,234 points and Ithaca senior Ceclia LaBonte was third with 3,994 points.
MEN
- RPI continued to demonstrate its prowess in the track distance events with four of the top-six finishers in the 1,500 and seven of the top ten finishers in the 5,000 meters. The Engineers tallied 21 points in the 1,500 and 27 points in the 5,000.
- St. Lawrence University senior Nick Lyndaker swept the 1,500 and 5,000 meters for the second straight year. He narrowly defeated a pair of RPI runners to win the 1,500 in 3:57.26. RPI juniors Jack Czarnecki (3:58.06) and Evan Lacey (4:00.50) placed second and third, respectively. Lyndaker again outpaced the Engineers in the 5,000 meters, crossing the finish line in 14:35.27 ahead of five RPI runners who placed second through fifth.
- In the 100-meter dash, sophomore Cam Caso earned the victory after finishing runner-up a year ago, clocking a meet-record 10.59 seconds and breaking the previous mark of 10.63 set by RPI’s Josh Ihegihu in 2025. RPI junior Ronen Stewart placed second in 10.82 seconds.
- Caso and Stewart again finished one-two in the 200-meter dash with Caso topping the field in 21.18 seconds and Stewart posting a time of 21.59 seconds. Senior Donovan Myrick rounded out the top-three at 21.78 seconds.
- The Engineers earned the win in one of the day two relays at the conference championship, as Caso, Myrick, Stewart, and junior Alex Flynn combined for a time of 42.08 to secure the gold.
- RIT claimed gold in the 4x400-meter relay, thanks to graduate student Trenton Goyette, sophomore John Elliot, senior Ryan Senf and junior Jack DeFeo posting a time of 3:16.83.
- DeFeo also delivered the top performance in the 400-meter dash, setting a meet-record time of 47.14 seconds. He broke the previous mark of 48.05 seconds set last May by RPI’s Myrick, who finished second this year in 47.66.
- RPI also had event champions in the 400-meter hurdles (senior Cortez Garrett, 53.44), and discus (first-year Arthur Hrycak, 45.13m). In the discus, Engineers placed first, second, and third. Hrycak won the event on his second attempt while sophomore Jack Chappa was second with a mark of 43.70 on his fourth attempt and senior Tristan Mangin, who won the javelin on Friday, finished third with a throw of 43.06 meters on his third attempt.
- Ithaca first-year Quinten Lewis recorded a mark of 14.24 meters in the triple jump to win the event on his third attempt. He was also the runner-up in the long jump on Friday.
- A pair of Rochester athletes finished one-two in the decathlon with Ashton Tokoraski finishing with 6,069 points. He posted victories in the 100-meter dash (10.99), and long jump (6.66m), while finishing among the top three in three other events: high jump (2nd, 1.81m), 400-meter dash (3rd, 51.45), discus (29.25m). Sophomore Emmett Hanson finished second with 6,044 points. He recorded a pair of wins across the ten events (high jump, 1.84m; 400-meter dash, 50.51).
