The Liberty League announced that 30 student-athletes in 12 different sports have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the week of April 13-19. Clarkson University junior Jacob Shirley, the Pitcher of the Week in baseball, tossed a complete game against the University of Rochester, allowing seven hits, a walk, and one unearned run in an 8-1 victory. Over nine innings he struck out nine batters for his fourth win of the year.
