St. Lawrence University sophomore and men's lacrosse defender Drew Knight earned a spot on this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Associaiton (USILA) Team of the Week, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Knight tallied 24 ground balls and recorded seven caused turnovers for the No. 14 Saints at the Callum Robinson Mustang Classic this past weekend in a 1-1 weekend. He recorded 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 19-6 loss to Dickinson, both career highs, and matched his 12 ground balls in the Saints' 16-10 win over Stevenson on Saturday.
Knight also earned Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week honors on Monday.
The Saints are back in Canton this weekend and are scheduled to open Liberty League play on Saturday, March 21 vs. Union at 12 p.m.
