Five from Ithaca Women's Track & Field qualify for NCAA Division III Indoor Championship

ITHACA, N.Y. – The official qualifiers for the upcoming NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on March 13-14 in Birmingham, Ala. were released on Sunday evening and five members of the Ithaca College women's program will be competing this weekend.

Rachel Larson, a two-time All-American, is Ithaca's top seed for the championships as she is seeded fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.50 seconds. The preliminary race goes off at 1:30 p.m. on Friday and the final is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Lily Seyfert will be competing in two events this weekend, she qualified to compete in the shot put and weight throw. Seyfert is seeded 13th in the shot put with a top mark of 13.86 meters and is 16th in the weight throw at 17.23 meters. The weight throw is set for 3 p.m. on Friday and the shot put takes place at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Two Bombers will compete for a national title in the pole vault with Talia Hutchinson ranked 10th at 3.92 meters and Erin Eastwood is 18th at 3.87 meters. The pole vault final begins at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Madeleine Wright, a two-time USTFCCCA Second Team All-American in the high jump, will be making her fourth appearance at the national meet. Wright is seeded 15th in the event with a top clearance of 1.68 meters, and the final takes place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
