The Liberty League announced that 24 student-athletes in eight different sports have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the week of March 9-15. Vassar College junior Haley Schoenegge, the Track Performer of the Week in women's track and field, successfully defended her indoor mile national title at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships with a career-best time of 4:42.69. She earned First Team All-America accolades with the victory, and it was her fourth career national championship title. Schoenegge led the race from wire-to-wire and clocked 33.46 seconds over the last 200 meters to pull away from the pack and record the fourth-fastest time in Division III history. Schoenegge closed the championship with a 16th-place finish in the 3,000 meters and earned Second Team All-America honors after crossing the finish line with a time of 9:53.08. Schoenegge is now a nine-time USTFCCCA Track and Field All-American.
