37 Liberty League Football players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams following the end of the Fall 2025 season.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performances in the classroom and on the court. Eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of or start at least 66 percent of an institution's games/contests, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the school.
All eight Liberty League football institutions had representatives among the Division III honorees. Union College, the 2025 Liberty League Champions, and the University of Rochester led the way with eight selections apiece. Hobart College had seven recognized while Ithaca College and St. Lawrence both had five honorees. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) had a pair recognized while associate members Buffalo State University and Hilbert College each had one representative to round out the league’s honorees.
The Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of or start at least 66 percent of an institution's games/contests, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the school.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football players from four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Three Liberty League Football student-athletes from three different schools (Hobart, Ithaca, Rochester) are eligible for the All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late January.
