The Liberty League announced that 18 student-athletes in seven different sports have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the week of Jan. 19-25. Clarkson University junior guard Steve DeRegis, the Performer of the Week in men's basketball, shot 72.2 percent from the floor in a 2-0 weekend for the Golden Knights while averaging 18.0 points per game. He produced 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting to go along with six rebounds on Friday against Ithaca and then added 20 points on Saturday, going 7-for-9 from the floor, with three steals in a victory against RIT. .
