71 Liberty League student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District At-Large teams. 23 were selected to the men’s teams and 48 earned spots on the women’s teams.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® At-Large honorees, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in academics and athletics. Eligible student-athletes must be a starter or significant contributor to their team, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees for the at-large teams will be announced mid-July.
The At-Large teams honor those student-athletes who participate in sports that do not have their own specific CSC academic teams. For the women, the 48 honorees represent four sports: women's lacrosse (25), field hockey (12), rowing (4), and golf (7) while two sports were highlighted among the 23 men’s teams honorees—lacrosse (18) and golf (5).
All 11 Liberty League schools had honorees on the teams with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) headlining the list with a league-best 11 selections. Skidmore College had nine honorees while University of Rochester, Union College, and Vassar College each had seven recognized. Bard College and St. Lawrence had five selections apiece while Clarkson University and William Smith College both had four honored. Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) rounded out the honorees with one representative. Associate members New York University (1 men’s golf; 1 women’s golf) and Wellesley College (2 women’s golf) had a combined four selections.
Eight conference members also had representatives for non-Liberty League DIII sports (Bard, Hobart, Ithaca, RIT, Skidmore, St. Lawrence, Vassar, William Smith). Division I student-athletes from four schools also earned All-District At-Large accolades.
