The Liberty League announced that four student-athletes in two different sports have been recognized following outstanding performances at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 22-24.
Vassar College sophomore Haley Schoenegge successfully defended her national champion title in the 1,500 meters at NCAAs, finishing first in the event for the second straight year. She finished the race with a time of 4:22.61 and a margin of victory of three seconds. She recorded a 67-second final lap to pull away for her second career national title. Schoenegge also earned All-America honors in the 5,000 meters with a fifth-place finish in the event, posting a time of 16:36.19. Schoenegge’s 14 points helped the Vassar women’s squad record its best finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championship, the Brewers tied for 17th (14 points) among 81 schools.
