Skidmore's Dhull and Truong selected for NCAA Doubles Championship; Dhull to also compete in singles

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Skidmore College women's tennis pair of Konika Dhull and Grace Truong have been selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Women's Doubles Championship as announced on Wednesday. Additionally, Dhull was selected to compete in the 32-player Singles Championship to take place later this month.
 
The individual championships shall consist of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. The selection of teams and individuals for the championships is based on won-lost record, strength of schedule and eligibility and availability of student-athletes.
 
The team championship will take place May 20-23, while the individual championships will be May 24-27, both at Biszantz Family Tennis Center, Claremont, California; hosted by Claremont McKenna Mudd Scripps Colleges.

The draw for the individual championship will be done by the women's tennis committee and will be released on May 23 not before 1 p.m. Eastern time.
 
The 2024 singles title went to Rena Lin of the University of Chicago, while Babson's Matia Cristiani and Olivia Soffer claimed the 2024 doubles title at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The University of Chicago is the defending national champion, having defeated Wesleyan (CT) 5-3 to take the team title in 2024.
