42 Liberty League basketball players were tabbed Academic All-District honorees as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). 25 women’s basketball and 17 men’s basketball student-athletes were recognized.
The 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District® Men’s and Women's Basketball Teams highlight the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of or start at least 66 percent of an institution's games/contests, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the school.
The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-April.
For the third straight year, eight of the 10 Liberty League institutions that sponsor basketball were represented. Seven league members had honorees from both men’s and women’s basketball. Clarkson University, Hobart & William Smith Colleges, and Vassar College led the way with a league-high seven honorees apiece (four from women’s basketball and three from men’s basketball).
