The Liberty League announced that 30 student-athletes in 12 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the opening weekend of Oct. 21-27. Vassar College senior midfielder/forward Madison Bouggess, the Offensive Performer of the Week in women's soccer, scored both goals for the Brewers in a 2-1 win over eighth-ranked Ithaca. After Vassar fell behind 1-0 in the third minute, Bougess scored back-to-back goals just 55 seconds apart to give the Brewers all the scoring they would need. The game winning goal, which came in the fifth minute of the contest, was Bouggess' first game-winning goal of the season.
