The Liberty League announced that 31 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Sept. 13-19. Union College senior linebacker Colin Lama, the Defensive Performer of the Week in football, recorded a game- and career-high 16 tackles, including 11 solo stops in a 30-27 win over Springfield. In the first quarter, Lama recovered a fumble, which resulted in a Union field goal on the next drive. With less than a minute to go in the fourth quarter, Lama intercepted a pass on Springfield's final drive to secure the win.
