The Liberty League announced that 27 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Nov. 8-14. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute senior Trevor Bisson, the Special Teams Player of the Week in football, kicked the game-winning 36-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Engineers to a 19-17 victory over Union College. With the win, RPI improved to 9-1 and clinched the Liberty League championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Football Championship. It was the first collegiate football game for Bisson following an All-American soccer career for the Engineers.
