75 Liberty League student-athletes were named to the 2026 Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-District® teams, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) following the 2025-26 academic year. Among the 75 Liberty League honorees, 37 were male student-athletes, and 38 were female student-athletes.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® teams highlight the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic performances. Eligible student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and reach at least sophomore athletic and academic standing at their school, as well as rank among the Top 50 in their region in a single event on the TFRRS performance lists.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are All-District honorees denoted with an asterisk and advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. One male student-athlete (Patrick Russell, St. Lawrence) and five female student-athletes (Rachel Larson, Ithaca; Eva Ciuffetelli, Rochester; Nora Chen, Rochester; Ashley Sheldon, Union; Haley Schoenegge, Vassar) advance to their respective national ballots. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees for Track & Field/Cross Country will be announced in July.
All eight Liberty League institutions that sponsor Men's and Women's Track & Field
and Cross Country had representatives on the team. Three schools: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), University of Rochester, and St. Lawrence University all boasted a league-best 12 selections (6 men, 6 women). Vassar College had 11 recognized (6 women, 5 men), while Rochester Institute of Technology (5 men, 4 women) and Union College (5 women, 4 men) each had nine selections. Ithaca College had seven honorees (4 women, 3 men), and Bard College rounded out the conference's selections with three honorees (2 men, 1 woman).
