Liberty League announces Spring 2026 All-Academic Teams

TROY, N.Y. – Liberty League commissioner Tracy King has announced that 1,154 spring sport student-athletes have qualified for the league's All-Academic Teams in their respective sports, marking second-highest total for a spring season in the league's 31-year history. Only last spring's total of 1,226 All-Academic Team qualifiers was higher. It also marked the sixth consecutive year that more than 1,000 spring sport student-athletes have qualified for the All-Academic Teams.

"Our Liberty League student-athletes represent the very best in Division III," said King. "Not only do they achieve at the highest levels on the playing field, they are also successful in the classroom while contributing to their campus communities. Their achievements are a great source of pride for our member institutions. I commend them on their outstanding work."

To be recognized as a member of the All-Academic Team a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30. The spring championship sports include baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rowing, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.

For the 2025-26 academic year, 796 fall sport student-athletes and 413 winter sport student-athletes also qualified for Liberty League All-Academic Teams. Combined with 1,154 spring-sport student-athletes, a total of 2,363 student-athletes in the league's 27 sports have achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better.
