The Liberty League announced that 28 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the week of April 27 - May 3. RIT sophomore Ryan Sanders, the Offensive Performer of the Week in men's lacrosse, was named the Liberty League Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after recording 11 points on nine goals and two assists to lead the Tigers to their 13th Liberty League crown. Sanders scored four goals including the game-tying goal with 54 seconds to play in regulation in RIT's 11-9 come-from-behind win at St. Lawrence in Friday's semifinal. He then scored a season-high five goals and added two assists in Sunday's 17-7 win over Union in the championship game.
