The Liberty League announced that four student-athletes in two different sports have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the week of May 18 - May 24. Vassar College junior Haley Schoenegge, the Track Performer of the Week in women's track & field, collected her fifth national title with her third consecutive victory at nationals in the 1,500 meters at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She pulled away in the final lap, recording a blazing 1:05.16 across the final 400 meters, to finish the 1,500-meter race with a time of 4:16.73. Schoenegge also recorded an eighth-place finish in the 5,000 meters, earning her second First Team All-America honors of the day and championship with a time of 16:42.43. The junior now holds 11 total All-America selections, with nine of them coming in track and two coming in cross country.
