The Liberty League announced that 31 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the week of March 23-29. University of Rochester junior Riley Laygo, the Performer of the Week in softball, finished with a .538 average (7-for-13), scoring three runs, with one double, two home runs and five runs batted in as the Yellowjackets went 3-1. Laygo slugged 1.077, had an on-base percentage of .533 and was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts. She had a hit in all four of the team's games, finishing with a 3-for-3 effort against Fredonia, notching a double, home run and two runs batted in.
