Noah Murphy has been named St. Lawrence University's new Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach, as announced by Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Franco Bari.
"We are very pleased to welcome Noah as he assumes this new role!" said Bari. "He has been an integral contributor to the recent success of both programs, and we are looking forward to his leadership as the tennis programs continue to build momentum on the court, in the classroom, and beyond."
Murphy, who spent the last two years as the assistant coach for both programs, helped lead the women's program to a 13-0 start and to a program record of 16 wins, tying the women's record in 2024-25. This past spring, he earned his Master of Arts in Leadership from St. Lawrence University.
"I am beyond excited for the opportunity to stay at St. Lawrence and continue building these programs," said Murphy. "Over the last two years I have developed a love for the University and the tennis programs, and I am thankful to keep that going."
Prior to his time at St. Lawrence, Murphy graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in psychology with coursework in social, cognitive, sports, developmental, abnormal, and biopsychology. Noah started his college career at Southwestern College in Kansas where he was a two-year member of the men's tennis team.
