WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Vassar College Field Hockey team made its first NCAA Championship appearance since 2021 on Wednesday evening as the Brewers fell 4-0 to Williams College at Willamson Field. Vassar's season comes to a close at 13-8 overall after winning the Liberty League title and putting together the best turnaround in program history.
How It Happened
- The first 30 minutes were scoreless as junior Karina Hoffman and sophomore Mackenzie Allen each got a shot recorded and junior Grace Wiley made three strong saves to keep the game in scoreless tie.
- Williams broke through three minutes into the second half on a goal from Anna Miller on an assist from Keira Harder and doubled its lead before the end of the third quarter on a goal from Pilar Torres off an insert from Claire Colvin.
- The Ephs scored twice more in the fourth quarter behind goals from Katie Sigrist and Laura Ryan.

- Hoffman and Allen each recorded a shot for the Brewers.
- Wiley made a season-high tying eight saves in net.
For The Ephs
- Torres, Sigrist, Ryan and Miller each tallied a goal.
