33 Liberty League Football players have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District accolades at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
All seven Liberty League football teams had honorees, and they were headlined by Union College as well as the University of Rochester, who both had a conference-high seven representatives. Ithaca College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) had six honorees apiece while Hobart College and St. Lawrence University each had three. Buffalo State University had one honoree to round out the league’s selections.
The Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of or start at least 66 percent of an institution's games/contests, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the school.
The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late January.
