The Liberty League announced that 18 student-athletes in seven different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Jan. 20-26. Union College junior forward Jelena Perovic, the Performer of the Week in women's basketball, averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game in a pair of key Liberty League road victories over Vassar and RPI. Perovic scored 14 of her team-high 18 points in the second half to lead the Garnet Chargers past Vassar and into second place in the league standings.
