The Liberty League announced that 24 student-athletes in 10 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Oct. 30 - Nov. 5. Hobart College junior forward Frederick Madsen, the Offensive Performer of the Week in men's soccer, recorded five points on two goals and an assist in the Liberty League championship, helping the Statesmen to the title. Madsen, who was selected the tournament's Most Outstanding Performer, scored the game-winning goal in overtime in a semifinal win over RPI. In the championship game against Ithaca, he assisted on the first goal and scored the third goal in a 4-1 victory.
