2020-21 Academic All-District Team Women’s At-Large
11 Liberty League student-athletes have been recognized with Academic All-District At-Large team honors as selected by CosIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). The At-Large teams honor those student-athletes who participate in sports that do not have their own specific academic teams and the 11 honorees represent seven sports (Women’s Crew, Field Hockey Women’s Golf, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Tennis & Women’s Tennis) and six league institutions.
Hobart & William Smith Colleges and Ithaca College headline the list of honorees with three representatives apiece. The University of Rochester had two selections while Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Union College each had one.
Student-athlete nominees on the Academic All-District and All-America ballots must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better, play in at least 50 percent of his or her team's games as a starter or important reserve and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically at his or her school.
The All-District teams represent eight geographic regions across the United States and Canada. All Liberty League representatives were selection to the District 3 (NY) team for Division III.
Academic All-District selections advance to the Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team selections will be announced in August.
