The Liberty League announced that 22 student-athletes in nine different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Nov. 15-21. Skidmore College junior guard Kate McCarney, the Performer of the Week in women's basketball, averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the unbeaten Thoroughbreds. McCarney scored 19 points and had four assists in handing Middlebury its first loss of the season, 68-66. It was Skidmore's first road win over the Panthers since 1988.
