The Liberty League announced that 26 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Oct. 25-31. Ithaca College senior defender Alex Leahy, the Defensive Performer of the Week in men's soccer, anchored a Bomber defense that recorded a pair of Liberty League shutouts on the road in the final week of the regular season. Ithaca played to a 0-0 double-overtime tie at RIT before recording a 1-0 win at Vassar. With the two shutouts, the Bombers secured the second seed in the upcoming Liberty League men's soccer championship.
