The Liberty League announced that 30 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Sept. 27 - Oct. 3. RPI junior Matt Lecky, the Performer of the Week in men's cross country, won the individual title at the Paul Short Invitational 'Brown' race. Lecky recorded a time of 24:30.2 (4:55.8 per mile) in winning the 340-competitor 8K race. As a team, the Engineers finished second among 41 teams in the multi-divisional race.
