Liberty League announces weekly award winners for Nov. 19
The Liberty League announced that 20 student-athletes in nine different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Nov. 12-18. RPI senior linebacker Jack Hoggard, the Defensive Performer of the Week in football, recorded 10 tackles and a key interception as the Engineers earned a 38-14 win over Husson (Maine) in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Hoggard returned his interception 26 yards to the Husson 12 yard line, setting up an RPI touchdown late in the fourth quarter that helped seal the win.
