Senior Sean Pesin and sophomore Nick Fischer led the No. 34 ranked Hobart tennis team in its 9-0 sweep over St. Lawrence on Saturday. With the win, the Statesmen secured the No. 2 seed in the Liberty League postseason tournament. Pesin and Fischer continued to play an important role in both singles and doubles play. In doubles action, the duo defeated Adam Heilbronner and Broderick Pinto 8-1 in the No. 1 spot. Both Pesin and Fischer defeated their opponents in singles play to earn three points for the Statesmen. The duo is 13-5 in dual matches this season at the No. 1 spot and will look to lead Hobart into postseason play.
