Vassar College first-year athlete Haley Schoenegge turned in a strong run at the Vassar Invite on Friday, winning the 1500-meters in a time of 4:25.40. Schoenegge topped the runner-up by nearly six seconds and broke the previous school record of 4:39.07. Friday's time was also the third-fastest time in the country in Division III and helped lead Vassar to a first place team finish.
