Union College first-year shortstop Sam Rose batted. 429 (9-for-21) over six games last week. Rose's week was highlighted by a three-hit performance in Union's win at St. Lawrence, tying her season-high. She added two hits in game two of the doubleheader, putting together consecutive multi-hit games for the first time in her collegiate career. Rose also scored four times and drove in three during the week, and her career-best nine-game hit streak has her leading the Garnet Chargers and ranking 21st in the Liberty League with a .348 batting average.
