The Hobart College doubles team of senior Sean Pesin and sophomore Nick Fischer led the Statesmen to a 2-1 week. Hobart defeated NYU 5-4 and Bard 9-0 before falling to Liberty League foe, No. 27 RPI, 5-4. Pesin and Fischer went 2-0 against ranked opponents to move to 11-4 in dual matches this season at the No. 1 spot. The duo opened the weekend against the eighth-ranked doubles team in the region from NYU. Pesin and Fischer defeated Alexander Lee and Boren Zheng 8-4 to help Hobart to a thrilling 5-4 win. The duo then took on the top-ranked doubles team in the region from RPI to close out the weekend's action. Pesin and Fischer defeated Aidan Drover-Mattinen and Andy Zhu 8-7 (10-8) to extend their win streak to six straight.
