Vassar College first-year athlete Haley Schoenegge shattered the school record in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:32.59 at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. Schoenegge was the third overall finisher - first among Division III competitors - in the field of 65 finishers. Her time currently ranks fourth in Division III this season and broke the Vassar record of 16:41.93 set by Aubree Piepmeier in 2014.
