University of Rochester graduate student Brendan Frain was the Yellowjackets' top golfer over the weekend, competing at the Hershey Cup. He finished in a tie for 10th among 87 golfers in the field with a two-day total of 149. Frain shot a 77 in round one before shaving five strokes off that score in Monday's final round, carding a 72. Frain's effort helped Rochester to a runner-up finish in the team standings, ranking second of 16 teams with a two-day total of 602 (309-293). Rochester led the field on day two with a 293 team score. Statistically, Frain was second in the field in par-4 scoring (+2) and wrapped up the event third in par-3 scoring (+1) and total pars (25).
