University of Rochester first-year athlete Evan Bryant helped Rochester’s 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay to event wins at Sunday afternoon’s UR Alumni Invitational. Bryant ran the leadoff leg on Rochester’s record breaking 4x100 meter relay that posted a UR all-time best of 42.10 seconds, ranking first in the field. The first-year later was the opening runner on the 4x400 meter relay that ran a time of 3:22.03 to capture the win. Both relays rank inside the Division III top-50 and were AARTFC qualifiers. Bryant’s individual event was the 400 meters where he finished 15th with a time of 51.61 seconds. The efforts helped the Yellowjackets wrap up the team competition in third place among 13 teams.
