University of Rochester senior Alec Ellison kept his hot streak at the plate going with another solid series for the Yellowjackets during a sweep of Liberty League opponent Clarkson over the weekend. The senior infielder hit .429 (6-for-14) with three runs, one double, one home run and three RBI. He slugged .7413 and was 24-of-24 on fielding chance in the outfield and at first base. His runs, hits and RBI totals led Rochester during the week and he extended his hitting streak to a Yellowjacket season-high 12 games. Ellison’s best game was a 3-for-5 effort on Sunday in the series finale, as he added three runs, a double, and home run.
