Hobart College senior Sean Pesin led the 29th-ranked Statesmen to a sweep of Ithaca on Saturday, improving to 2-0 in Liberty League play. Pesin clinched the match as he defeated Nicolas Luis 6-3, 6-0 in the No. 1 spot. He is now 5-4 in singles play and is riding a five-match win streak. Pesin also partnered with sophomore Nick Fischer in doubles play and defeated Gijs Fidler and Emiliano Padrero 8-4 in the No. 1 doubles position. Pesin has led Hobart to a seven-match win streak and has the Statesmen at 7-3 on the season.
