The Ithaca Women's Varsity Eight line-up that consisted of Caroline Hoskins, Taylor Volmrich, Lily Babcock, Laura Trainor, Maggie Farber, Erin Trojan, Kai Linke, Sam Gallagher and Emma Hammel won a pair of duel races against William Smith College and Hamilton College. They opened the day with a duel against William Smith, both eights raced neck and neck for the first 700 meters. The Bombers started to move in the second 500 and opened it up, finishing 17 seconds ahead of the Herons as Ithaca put together a time of 7:58.5. Ithaca went on to defeat Hamilton, the Bombers rowed strong during the final 500 to finish with a time of 7:52.0 to Hamilton’s 8:01.6.
