Union College first-year player Luisa Arizpe Sierra posted an impressive 7-1 overall record for the Garnet Chargers in their final four matches of spring break, finishing off an outstanding 10-2 overall mark during the team's week in Florida. Arizpe Sierra started the week with four wins on Monday against Augustana and Whitworth, posting a pair of 8-5 second-doubles wins alongside Kennedy Alexis before seeing her singles sets get better throughout the day in 6-3, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0 victories at the third flight. All four of her matches on Tuesday came down to breakers: she and Alexis won 8-6 and 7-4 in a pair of tiebreakers against DePauw and St. Olaf, and she dropped her only match of the week by a 1-6, 6-0, (10-6) margin versus the Tigers before coming back to win 6-1, 4-6, (12-10) against the Oles.
